Impraint

Settings

Manage your organisation, alert channels, Slack approvals and members.

The Settings page in the Guard dashboard has four parts: Organisation, Alert channels, Approve from Slack, and Members.

Organisation

The top of the card shows four read-only values:

ValueMeaning
PlanYour plan
Agent limitHow many agents your organisation can run, or Unlimited
MembersHow many people are in your organisation
CreatedWhen your organisation was created

Below them you can edit:

FieldWhat it does
Organisation nameThe name shown in Guard
TimezoneAn IANA timezone name, for example Asia/Kolkata
How is Guard deployed? Not set, Hosted by Impraint, or Self-hosted. Admins only. Used only to word the Data Processor note in the DPDP report.

Click Save changes to apply them.

Data retention is shown as a number of days, and the field is read-only. In beta, Guard does not delete data automatically after this period.

Alert channels

Set where alerts and approval requests are sent: email recipients and a Slack incoming webhook. Use Send test to check a channel. Alerts go only to the channels set here. See Alerts.

PagerDuty is not available in beta.

Approve from Slack

Visible to admins only. Link your Slack member ID so you can approve or reject requests with the Slack buttons. In Slack, open your profile, click the three dots, and choose Copy member ID. It looks like U01ABC234DE. Paste it and click Save. See Approvals.

Members

The table lists everyone in your organisation, with their role and when they joined. Admins can change a member's role, reset their password, or remove them.

To add someone, enter their email, pick a role and click Invite. If the email is already a member, Guard tells you.
